Klar, mach ich doch gerne!


Hierfür brauchte ich alle meine skillz um rauszufinden, dass wir uns hier in der Chijmes befinden. Hier was über Chijmes in der englischen Wikipedia.


Raffles Hotel

OCBC Tower


Fullerton Hotel, Cavenagh Bridge. Die Brücke hat anno 1869 S$80,000 gekostet und wurde in Glasgow hergestellt. In Singapur wurde sie dann durch Sträflinge aufgebaut. Ursprünglich als Zugbrücke gedacht, war sie die 3. Brücke Singapurs. Heutzutage ist sie eine reine Fussgängerbrücke. Das Hotel wurde als Postgebäude errichtet.


River People

Bei dem Merlion bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher wegen der google map. Ist er aber da, wo ich ihn vermute, kann man da den Wasserstrahl sehr gut erkennen.


Fernando Botero: Bird, 1990
Der Botero ist wohl einigen besser bekannt von seiner Ausstellung in Ebisu, Japan. Ebisu ist benannt nach einenem japanischen Gott und heisst so viel wie "Ebi-kind". Ich habe da wohl mächtig Eindruck gemacht als ich noch klein war.

Hier bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher wo sich der eingang befindet. Der google link ist auf jeden fall für die unterirdische Station. (Ich vermute aber den Eingang im Süden über der Strasse.)
